Students will bring home a packet "All About Me" composition book. They will have until Friday to complete this and return it to class. Please remind them to do their best work, because this gives me a great idea about each one of them!!! Also, their homework for the week is to make sure that you have signed up for ClassDojo and completed any paperwork that is sent home.
7/25/2017 0 Comments Homework NotebookParents,
I will be doing something different this school year when it comes to weekly homework. I know in the past that other teachers will send home a packet at the beginning of the week, but I want to cut down on as many copies as possible (less chance for students to misplace their work). Math homework will come home daily based on the material that we have learned on that day. In addition, your student be keeping up with a homework notebook weekly. On Monday they will receive the assignment that will be glued into their notebook for the week. They will be expected to work on ONE assignment daily in their notebook that will help reflect over materials we have been working on in the different subject areas. I will also post them on the blog weekly for those that might be absent or "forget" their notebook at school/home. Please note that this is the first year that I am implementing this notebook, so we will be working out the issues as we go. Do not hesitate if there are issues or difficulty, because as a team we work together and make the best for the students! Looking forward to a GREAT year working with you all!!!
